A revolutionary new driver assistance system, the Speed Limit Info keeps the driver informed of the maximum permissible speed at all times. A camera fitted near the interior mirror permanently monitors the signs by the road as well as variable speed limit signs on overhead displays. If it is raining or the restrictions only apply at night, the intelligent system checks with the rain sensors and clock before reacting. The permitted speed is displayed in the instrument cluster or on the optional Head-Up Display.
