Light and fast.

The four-cylinder petrol engines in the BMW X1.

The four-cylinder drive trains with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology are impressively dynamic and fuel efficient. While the fully-variable valve control Valvetronic and the High Precision Injection reduce consumption, the TwinScroll Turbo and the double-Vanos increase performance and response. Facts and emotion are intertwined in the xDrive28i: a powerful 180kW (245 hp) allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds with fuel consumption of only 7.9 litres per 100 km.

The BMW TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder petrol engines sDrive20i and xDrive20i deliver equally impressive performance: with 135 kW (184 hp) and consumption of only 7.1 and 7.7 litres, respectively, per 100 km the vehicles accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a sporty 7.4 and 7.8 seconds, respectively. The sDrive18i has a little less spirit but offers an equal amount of driving pleasure. The four-cylinder with 110 kW (150 hp) delivers more performance with lower consumption across the entire speed range thanks to its modern valve technology and variable camshaft.

Fuel consumption / CO2 emissions

Combined fuel consumption: 7.1 to 8.4 l/100 km
Combined CO2 emissions: 165 to 195 g/km
All engines meet the EU5 emissions standard.
